so one half of that cup would be 2/4. and then you can tell from looking at 3/4 and 2/4...that 3/4 is bigger... =)

when you have questions like this..its easy to draw a circle to see which is bigger.

Draw one circle and put a cross in it so its split into 4 sections. Color in 3 of the 4 (i.e; 3/4)sections with your pencil

Draw another circle and draw one line going down the middle. Color in 1 of the 2 sections (i.e; 1/2) sections with your pencil
