If you include all disputed territories in China then China is bigger with an area of 9,640,821 km squared while US has an area of 9,629,091 km squared. If you don't include disputed territories in china then it's area is 9,598,094 km squared, smaller than the US.

The easy answer to your question is China.  The US total land area is 9,161,923 sq km and China's total land area is 9,326,410 sq km.

However, none of the US is seriously disputed.  China is another story altogether.  China claims Tibet and Taiwan, both of which claim autonomy.  Tibet's total land area 1,228,400 sq km and Taiwan's is 35,801 sq km.  That leaves China's undisputed land area at 8,062,209 sq km, much lower than the size of the US.
