I don't know about direct TV but I have dish network after leaving comcast. Comcast is ridiculously high and they kept going up on their fees. I have way more channels with Dish Network and the cost is cheaper.

directv is definetly cheaper however i dont know if its in affect yet but comcast is moving hd channels to a cheaper plan....
