if you could explain the answer using logic and not math. I'm not very good with math.

  1. ok i can say that celcius is on a scale of 0-100 0 being the freesing point, so 10c isnt even freezing point. while ferenheit 32 is freezing making 10f really cold and it would be colder than 10c

  2. 10 degres f

  3. 10 degrees F is colder.

There is an easy way to remember "which is colder" when comparing 2 temperatures of the same numeric values but different scales:

*C and *F overlap each other at -40

    Hence -40*C = -40*F

    ...but -39*C > -39*F

    and -41*C < -41*F

Any value above -40, then *C will be hotter

Any value below -40, then *F will be hotter

There is also a formula that can be used to convert farenheit to celcius and vice versa, but as a general rule the method shown above is good to remember.

  4. 10 degrees F is colder because the freezing point for C is 0 and the boiling point is 100. with farenheit, the freezing point is 32 and the boiling point is 212. here is an equation to convert F to C.

    F-32/1.8 ( Fahrenheit minus 32 divided by 1.8)

  5. Well, if you ask me - they are both cold.  10 degrees F is colder.  Here is why:  10 degrees C is above the freezing point of water.  10 degrees F is below the freezing point of water.  So because 10 degrees F is below the freezing point of water and 10 degrees C is not, 10 degrees F is the colder of the two.

  6. 10 C is equal to approximatly 50 F, therefore 10 F is the coldest.

  7. 10 degrees farenhiet is colder because:

in farenhiet 32 degrees is freezing point, so a number lower than 32 would obviously be colder.

in celcius, 0 is freezing point so a number greater than 0 would obviously be warmer.

    :) pretty logical i think !!

  8. 10 degrees celcius. because farenheit at 0 degrees is celcius at -32 degrees(celcius)
