  1. Evaporation is the warming process creating liquid water into water vapour. Condensation is a cooling process creating water vapour into liquid water droplets.


  2. The above answer is correct. Evaporation requires heat.  The warmer the air, the greater the rate of evaporation will be. In order for water vapor to condense, it must cool until it reaches the dew point temperature. This is one of the ways clouds are formed.

    Edit: I suppose there are a few ways of looking at it. cyswxman has a point.

  3. No, condensation is a warming process, while evaporation is a cooling process.  That is why you feel chilly when getting out of a pool.
