Which is correct, Ketchup, Catsup, or Catchup?

I see all three on different labels. Are there differences?

  1. All three actually i have heard of them. i think it depends on the brand b/c different brands uses different names!


  2. The Heinz bottle says Ketchup.  Catchup is how it was spelled in Webster's Dictionary in the early 20th century.  Catsup is a variation of the word.  They're all the same.

  3. I've only seen ketchup and catsup. there really is no wrong way it probably just depends on the brand and where u are located.

  4. It doesn't matter how that particular word is spelled on the label, just as long as the product is from Heinz.   If they put flouride in the bottle I would brush my teeth with it!   The Best!
