  1. My family and I

    is correct

  2. My family and I is correct, just like You and I.

  3. My family and I except if receiving an action as in "The man gave money to my family and me to go on vacation." Many people also make the mistake of saying "Between you and I" thinking it should be also "I" when it's "me" because it's the object of the word between. Get it?

  4. It depends, it;s my family and I if its at the beginning of the sentence. u only use me if it is at the end!!

  5. It would be my family and I. Because you wouldn't say me is going to the store, you would say I am going to the store.

  6. my family and i

because if you take out the "my family" part,

you would say "I" and it would make sense..

    you wouldn't say "me"...

    as in

Me went to the mall. /

    You would say:

i went to the mall / My family and I went to the mall.

  7. "My family and I "

    is correct.

  8. Both are correct, just used in different instances- for example:

My family and I went shopping.

He helped my family and me.

Basically, you have to judge it by imagining the sentence without 'my family' - for example:

    You would not say:

    Me went shopping.

    He helped I.

    You would say:

    I went shopping.

    He helped me.

The 'my family' stays the same regardless - so just think about how it affects the one word that changes in this instance: Me/I

  9. your friend is wrong.

  10. my family and I

  11. If it is the subject of the sentence, then it's "my family and I," as in...

My family and I are going to Disney World next month.

If it is the object of the sentence (the thing receiving the action in the sentence), then it's "my family and me," for example.

Our next door neighbor always gives my family and me a hard time about parking spaces.

The way to test is to leave "your family" out, and see how it sounds.

In these examples, you would have...

I am going to Disney World next month.

    And

My next door neighbor always gives me a hard time about parking spaces.

That always seems to make it easier.

  12. My family and me

  13. well it depends if my family and ... is in the beginning of the sentence. If your sentence was my family and ... always go to florida (for example), you would use the word I. the reason is because the pronoun you are using is before then verb. that makes it a subject pronoun (which mean it is before the verb or it is being used as a subject compliment - it renames the subject). If the sentence was the vacation to florida was fun for my family and ... (for example) you would use the word me. The reason why is because you are using the pronoun AFTER the verb. that is an objective pronoun which means the pronoun comes after the verb.

    Remember the subject pronouns are

I, you, he, she, and it

    the objective pronouns are

me, you, him, her, it, us,and them

    i hope i helped :D
