My Aunt is married to a man named Kendall. to me it's a boys name, but i have known MANY little girls w/this name to. i guess it sounds boyish to me because of the nickname from it, Ken.

i have seen it spelled more feminine:

Kindall

Kyndall

Kyndelle

Kendyll

etc. but they look silly to me.

i've even seen it spelled Cendelle

I prefer Kendall Joy.

Kendall Taylor (two unisex names) sounds very much like a boy to me. but Joy is definitely girly sounding.

Kendall is a very cute girl's name. I see it as more feminine than masculine to tell the truth. I think Kendall is really pretty. I like Kendall Joy the best. It's short, sweet, and simple. Joy is a very nice middle name. I also like the name Kendall Grace.

Kendall Joy, with such a long first name, a short middle name usually sounds better, that is unless the last name is short also.  I would stay away from Taylor though, I don't think the two names sound well together.

Kendal is a great name...and i know many Kendals and all of them are girls so i dont think you have to worry about that because it doesnt work well for a boy but it is PERFECT for a girl. I like it spelled Kyndell though. and out of the 2 i would go with Joy but i like Kyndell Grace or Kyndell Faith  a little better.

Kendall is a unisex name people!! And i happen to like it better for a girl! :) I like Taylor but I think I like the flow of Kendall Joy better. On a side note I love unisex names for girls but don't care for them on boys. I think once a name is used for a girl, even if it was a "boys" name to begin with, it will always sound feminine to me. I think it's funny that someone suggested Kelsey instead because Kendall is a boys name! HELLO! Kelsey is more boyish! lol!
