Which is drum set better: the Ludwig Power LC125 or a Pearl Forum?

I can't decide between the two. Any suggestions (under $500)? Thanks.

If you're looking for a complete drum set, BUY THE Sonor 2005 Force Studio 5-Piece Drum Set.

I promise you'll be satisfied.

It features all birch and the whole set (with included hardware) is exactly $500.

You can also trust Sonor.

They're a very high-quality shell manufacturer and their hardware is rock solid.  You're going to have to buy a set of hi hats and other cymbals guided by your personal preference, (personally I have two Sabian AAX crashes and Zildjian K hi hats and ride which is all very costly).

Hi Derek

Get the Ludwig and do yourself a favor. Ludwig will gain value over time but not the pearl. Also, the quality will get better because of the quality of wood Ludwig use.
