  1. None. They all have their eases and challenges, and each takes different skills. None is easier than the others.


  2. Neither, they're all equally hard.

    Bass guitar is entirely a different instrument. The bass has to give a backing of some sort. Bass sometimes does solo's.

    With rhythm, you need to keep time, and kind of do what the bass does, except rhythm guitar is with chords, and the bass is just single notes. It's not easy.

    Lead is just as hard as any. They need to give melody, keep time, know the scales, and be able to solo. I'd say it's just as hard as playing bass.

    They're not all easy. Lead guitar needs to give melody, Rhythm needs to give backing chords, and Bass needs to keep time and produce a backing track.
