Which is easier to find a job in IT field: Melbourne or Sydney?

Am moving to Australia for good and not sure which city I should go to find a suitable job.

Hi,

Both cities offer good IT employment opportunities. Although most companies (the global one especially) set up their head quarter in Sydney and I find that there're more companies in Sydney than Melbourne but as I said, the employment opportunities are similar.

Expats tend to choose Sydney because the beach lifestyle and weather in Sydney is nicer (Melbourne has 4 seasons in a day type of weather :-)). On the other hand, Melbourne's been voted to be the world's most livable city in the world. So i's a matter of what lifestyle you'd like to have.
