Which is easier to learn? Snowboarding or Snowskating?

I play ice hockey for my high school and ive only snowboarded once before and it was about a week ago and now my friend has an extra pair or snow skates and we are going up again and i wanna know if i should stick with snowboarding or try to snowskate.

Between this two, Snowboarding.

You already know to skate as a hockey player, so try something new.

Snowboarding is way better. You get way more speed. Snowskating is for pansies. Snowboard is way more fun.

Snowboarding for the speed and control.  At high speeds the snow skates are unstable.  Just practce

Those skates are kind of for old people. You really cant do any big tricks on them and you cant go fast. Anyway, you have already started boarding and youll probably start getting alot better if you go a few more times. Just stick with boarding man and watch how many people make fun of your friend on snowskates lol.
