Which is easier to take care of - a dog or a hamster?

Question

I have a hamster, I want a dog and my hamster is so hard to take care of.. And he bites, so it makes everything harder while cleaning the cage. Yesterday I spilled a whole bunch of the bedding in the sink filled with water.. That was NOT fun to clean.

What about cats? They seem easier than dogs, maybe even hamsters. But I have a fish. That might be bad.. =)

bot hhave a big commitment but I think a hamster is easier.  You dont have to take it out for walks, bath it, bring it out to go to the bathroom, and the food is less and cheaper.  Hamster food is pretty cheap and the bedding is reasonable too.

yeah, you still have to clean out the cage but it is alot easier then dogt p**p

A hamster is in a cage and all you have to do is put his/her water and food, have little toys, and clean the cage.

With dogs, you have lots to do. You have to take it for walks, clean his/her mess that they leave, they chew on valuable stuff--(ex. coats and shoes), provide food and lots of company.

Don't get me wrong, dogs are amazing, but when it comes to "Easy" it would be the hamster winning.

hamster's are easier to look out for  but i think a dog is worth it because you can't cuddle with a hamster.
