  1. The mother.

  2. It is absolutely the egg.  Eggs evolved well before birds ever walked the earth (or flew the skies).  Invertebrates produce eggs, fish produce eggs, amphibians produce eggs.  Reptiles, which evolved before birds, produced the first amniotic eggs (with a hard shell that means they are protected from dessication and can stay out of water).  So, eggs were around well before birds, including chickens.

  3. Well, I heard someone answer this once and the gist of their answer was that the chicken is actually the product of cross breeding between an alligator and something else so the egg came first.

Sorry, my memory is fuzzy but I tried me best :)

  4. the answer can be chicken or egg because and animal can genetically born a different species of animal or species of egg because a type of sort of a malfunction happen when the egg or the animal is being produce.

  5. The answer is the Chicken. There would be no egg without the chicken. God put the chicken on earth

  6. This question belongs in the Religion & Philosophy section.

    Science has no answer.

Monotheistic religions (Christian, Jew, Muslim) would tell you that the chikcen came first, becasue that is the way God created it.

  7. The question itself is the answer to this question.

It is a recursive question and the answer is also recursive. The answer is both chicken and egg. :)

  8. Evolution is involved with the reproductive process therefore the egg is where the chicken has to have come from. As an example (greatly exaggerating the evolutionary process) a dinosaur (for instance) would lay the egg and a chicken would emerge.

(If this Q was posted in R&S the correct answer would be the chicken but this is not R&S.)

  9. chicken hatches an egg but first its the egg then a chicken then it has a chicken

  10.   Well the er chi-no the eg er no h**l I don't know.
