  1. SORRY the other answers are wrong as long as you do not precise what you ask exactly for:

Energy density of liquified hydrogen per volume (MJ/ L) or energy density per unit of mass (MJ/Kg) ?

Hydrogen (liquified) has a higher density per mass but not per volume.

    H2 (liquid): 8MJ/L   or 120MJ/Kg

    Gasoline: 47 MJ/L or 37 MJ/Kg

  2. U need to make that liquid hydrogen and then Liquid hydrogen is much more powerful.

  3. Pure, liquified Hydrogen. For the simple reason that it takes a tremendous amount of energy to get it to that state. Raw oil and other hydrocarbons have to be refined to be of much use. Hydrogen is SO volitile that if you release it too fast from a pressurized container, it ignites.

  4. well, reason this through....did the US make a HYDROGEN bomb or a gasoline bomb?  Hmmmmmm.... waddayathink?

  5. Hydrogen.
