I'm trying to decided which to take this year-I've never been a strong math student but I did relatively well in Algebra 1 last year...suggestions?

  1. it all depends on the teacher, i took geometry last year and my teacher was the only one to let u use notes on evry test lol

  2. you should go with geometry, a lot in algebra II requires geometry.

without being able to understand geometry i dont think you can pass algebra II

  3. Yeah, I feel that geometry was a big help with continuing other classes. There should be a "guideline" for your classes. One will be the "dead end" or "no outlet" road, and the other will be the one that helps you continue onto other subjects. i.e. I couldn't take Algebra 2, or Trig without having taken Geometry first.

  4. when i was in high school, i had the same teacher for algebra 2 and geometry.  I was definitely better in the algebra.  It definitely depends on you.  geometry is alot of word problems, and is all about shapes which i hated.  It's been a few years since I graduated, but I still remember hating geometry.  Oh, and I had algebra 2 before geometry so I dont think it really matters what order you take them in.

  5. im in geometry this year too.. 10th grade too right? well yea.... i only passed alg 1 last year because of the finals :]] (i did almost no homework) lol.. so yea i hope geometry is easy... this year ima pay attention to my teacher more cus shes a babe.

  6. algebra 2 for me. geometry was probably the only math class i ever sort of liked.
