Im entering the 11th grade and I need an answer quick. Is Phys. harder than Chem? I keep getting vice versa answers from my friends. Majority of my friends are taking Chem., but one of my friends are taking Phys. I want to be a computer engineer as well. So i chose Physics, but people tell me its harder than chemistry is that true?

  1. Well,  I'm currently in chemistry and it has alot to do with math, which isn't my strong point, so it was a struggle at first. But it is pretty interesting so it made it easier for me to want to do all the work.

I can't help you with physics, but my friends say it's a little difficult.

If you truly want to be a computer engineer though, it usually helps if you're interested in what the class actually focuses on. So in this case, you probably won't find it too horrible..

I'm in 10th if it helps.

  2. Everyone is different, some people find Physics more difficult than Chemistry or Chemistry harder than Physics.

  3. chem is harder. you need to know the stuff in physics to do chem. well not really since i did bio then chem then phys and now marine bio. (i'm a senior) but phy is supposed to be the base of all science. at least at my school it was easy...

  4. I personally HATE HATE HATE HATE Chemistry!!!! i also hate physics but physics makes more sense than chemistry which means NOTHING!! :P

  5. I personally loved chemistry and thought it was a piece of cake. Got a 5 on the AP exam... There's math in it, but not as much as physics. We've been doing math since day one and my math stinks. =/ I think Physics is harder, but that's just my opinion. I took chemistry last year. Now I'm a senior.
