dude thats a personal preference question, everyone will have a different answer. personaly i can ski tbut i suck at it, but i can wakeboard and it came to me very naurally. but on the other hand my dad has a hard time w/ wakeboarding but can ski w/ the best of them. u just have to try them both for urself and make ur own opinion

wakeboard is easier but more boring in slalom you get more thrill

they are both the same difficulty, in slalom skiing you lean on your backfoot if im not mistaken, and wakeboarding you lean on your backfoot too, so they arent that much of a difference difficulty wise. being able to water skii will defitnely help with both of these sports. good luck!

slalom skiing is more of a finese sport. wakeboarding basics seem to be easier to learn. the speed is a factor also. slalom generally is done at speeds around 32-36 MPH. wakeboarding at a mere 18-22 MPH. After I'm on a water ski, wakeboarding is breezy-easy because I'm going so slow!

That depends on you.  My son does both, loves both, and got right up on both.

I have trouble with both, but have stuck with slalom.  One thing that can help with skiing is a deep V rope.  You put your ski in the V coming off the handle and the rope helps keep your ski straight as you come up.

I will say that watching both, the wake boarders pop right out of the water, versus the slalom skiers struggle awhile, even the really good ones.

i wake board and i got up the first time so i would think that wqkeboarding is alot easier than solam

I think that wakeboarding is alot easier and more fun. You can cut back and forth real fast with your wakeboard, like slolam skiing, and you can jump wakes and do tricks unlike slolam skiing.
