  1. Never get it at all.  At least if you have it for awhile you were able to enjoy something good.  If you never get it, you might lose it but you never that the experience.

  2. The hardest to get something good and loose it.

  3. I think I would be very angry if I got something then lost it (angry at myself for losing it in the first place) especially if it was something that I wanted for a long time, and saved up for.

  4. It is better to have Loved and Lost than to never have Loved at all-Shakespeare

  5. When you get something good and lose it, expecially if it's your fault that you lost it (sounds stupid but sometimes it isn't your fault to lose something)

  6. The hardest thing is to never get it at all, so that there's nothing to lose.

People who live on welfare, and I mean the ones who actively seek out the states paps and nurse on them all their lives are the ones who live with that attitude. Many use welfare when needed but get off as soon as they find a better means of support, like a good job. But then there are the lazy who will live from cradle to grave on the state's welfare.

Those who actually do live will get something good and lose it. But then they also get good things and get to keep them.

The poor of body and spirit don't get a damned thing worthwhile. Not even a healthy meal all the days of their lives.

  7. I can understand where everyone is coming from when they say getting something good and then losing it is worse.

But try to look at it like this:

Think of the most wonderful thing you have ever had, whether it be a boyfriend, husband, possesion, friend, etc.

Yes, it would be very difficult and hard to imagine losing it,

but if that thing brought you more happiness than you have ever seen or ever will see,

    then in my opinion,

it is harder to never get it all.

  8. Personally, to never experience something at all is the worse. Just think of all the things that you have right now, all the things you appreciate, and imagine them gone.

Now think of all those same things and imagine that you never experienced the happiness that they brought. I think that is far worse than the other alternative.
