  1. Water skiing is MUCH MUCH MUCH more difficult. I have done both for years, so I am someone that knows. They are both easy once you get the hang of it, but water skiing is harder to learn. Both are fun though :)

  2. neither is harder. just different. you are up on snow then have to deal with falling, getting up, controling speed and direction. a lot of thought goes into all of that. on water the main hurdle is getting up. after that just staying up. the boat controls the speed and you don't have to change direction. similarities exisit in the turn phase. the carving. the weight distribution is a bit different, but not too bad. tips for water. arms straight and don't pull in toward your body. legs bent to absorb just like on snow. if you can slide on snow you should be able to carry tthat over to slide on water easily.

  3. water skiing is harder but way more fun. have a good time!

  4. Waterskiing is much more difficult. I've been downhill skiing before I could walk, and I still can't get up on waterskis. Go figure!

  5. I would go for skiing on snow
