  1. tea baby

  2. tea is definitely healthier

both stain the teeth but coffee is roasted which

makes it lose a lot of the nutrients

what makes green tea so healthy is the natural

green leaves before they get cooked and turn brown

which loses vitamins, nutrients etc. and

it has natural caffiene in it that helps boost metabolism

within us naturaly that help us burn calories faster

which is why asians are so skinny from drinking so much of it.

the healthiest tea is acutally white tea, which comes before green tea and it doesnt have caffiene in it, which is healtheir because caffiene can become like a drug and white tea has way more antioxidants in it than green tea.

both have many different ways of preparation have very intense historical timelines as well.

especially with coffee and tea exchanges, many wars were faught, many people died, boston tea party, etc.

coffee has a lot of various uses though, like at starbucks

obviously you can do more with coffee because it goes well with more dessert like flavors such as chocolates, caramels,l vanillas, etc.

    hope that helps!

  3. they do different things to the body. Coffee works as a stimulant because it causes the adrenal glands to produce adrenaline - fight or flight. So it wakes you up, but over time depletes the kidneys and the adrenals and in Chinese medicine you don't want to deplete kidneys or adrenals.

There are many different types of tea on the other hand, each one doing a little something different. Most teas though will support the body's system instead of just simply "waking you up".  Tea would be considered healthier because it helps improve the functioning of your body.  This is a general statement - certain teas will have different effects on people, but here are some simple ones that I know first hand about:

chammomile - relaxing tea to calm down after a long day

valerian - full body muscle relaxer, you will sleep like a baby for a long time (careful, it will knock you out)

gotu kola - increases blood flow in the body (people with high blood pressure should not drink this)

peppermint (or any mint) - amazingly great for stomach and digestive problems - having trouble digesting?  Cup o' mint tea

green tea - small amounts of caffeine, many antioxidents, makes you more alert without the crash from coffee

yerba mate - strong coffee replacment, has a compound similiar to caffeine but not as addicting (research claims it to be non-addicting).  Taste is strong, but has a ton of antioxidents

raspberry leaf - fantastic for women during their menstrual cycle, relieves bloating and also promotes lactation in new moms

    -----

so...you can see, tea does all kinds of stuff, coffee simply wakes you up, can be addicting, raises your blood pressure over time and depletes the kidneys if used to excess.

So moderation is the key, even for tea, though herbal teas are for the most part extremely safe. Research the particular herb though before you just start drinking it, there are sometimes contraindications based on your own particular state of health.

Hope that helps...and great question by the way.

  4. Probably tea..Green tea is really good for ya..

  5. tea

  6. None of them, but green tea is really healthier.

  7. Tea is better for the body.

Coffee contains caffeine and antioxidants. The antioxidants are healthy, because they absorb and neutralize the so.called free radicals that try to break down the cells in the body. Caffeine is a stimulant that may make you more alert, but it also raises the blood pressure and can make you jittery. Caffeine is generally not considered a healthy substance.

Tea also contains caffeine and antioxidants, but the amount of caffeine is much lower, while the content of the healthy antioxidants is many times higher. The reason is that tea (especially green and white tea) are very lightly processed. Processing tends to destroy the antioxidants and increase the caffeine content. Coffee, on the other hand, is roasted, and heavily processed.

In other words, tea is much closer to its natural state than coffee is. That means that it retains much more of its beneficial qualities, mainly from the antioxidants.

The healthiest tea of all is the white tea, which is made from very young tea leaves. It contains up to three times the antioxidants that green tea does.

  8. Tea.
