  2. "healthy" is a totally relative term; it depends on your diet. If you ate nothing but broccoli, then cauliflower would be healthier for you, because it contains vitamins that broccoli does not, and vice versa. You should eat both from time to time, as well as as many other fruits/vegetables as you can get your hands on. My mom has this obsession with these super powerfood lists that she keeps seeing in magazines--anti-oxidant stuff like blueberries and spinach. And so that's all she ever eats, these 5 or 6 allegedly cancer-preventing wonderfoods. And I say: 'what about beets? what about mangoes and leeks?' Making your diet so exclusive is what's dangerous; the body needs a variety of nutrients from a variety of sources. Best bet: eat many different foods that are in season and local throughout the year.

I'm sorry that I don't have sources, but every nutritionist I ever heard say anything about diet always says to eat your greens.  They are high in all of the essential vitamins and nutrients.  I'm not saying that cauliflower doesn't have most of the same vitamins and nutrients, but because they lack the color, I think they might be missing one or two.
