  1. Good question. The least expensive I think is Italy, but only by a whisker!

  2. Ireland by far is cheaper to enjoy. I've been there 5 times and some deals include car & b+b for less then $ 400.00 a week. Italy is costly and most places are high price during the entire year, while you have peak, shoulder, and low season in Ireland.

  3. I am from Ireland and it very expensive here for a tourist but I was in Italy recently and the only plaaces that were more expensive were around the tourist areas... and taxi were very expensive but other than that Italy is a lot cheaper than Ireland...

  4. Both depending on the time of year.  You can stay in hostels to cut cost of money different ones have different features.  You can go to Ireland and catch a cheap flight on Ryanair to Italy for the weekend and see both.  some fllights to italy are as low as 20EURO.  Once you get to Ireland anywhere in Europe is cheap.

If you fly into Shannon Airport you can stay at the Jamaica Inn in Sixmilebridge a really nice hostel.  You can walk to catch a bus to Limerick, Galway the best, and see some of the sights catch a bus to Lahinch too.  Or catch the train to Dublin see temple bar or Guiness Storehouse.

Then catch the plan and see Italy
