  8. Although they both weigh the same, I would rather have 100lbs of feathers drop on me one at a time than 100lbs of bricks.

    Also: if the bricks were solid gold they would actually weigh less than the feathers due to the way a pound of gold is measured

    I did like the hue interpretation though, but if they were crow feathers they would be black, and thus not lighter but darker than the bricks (which we assume to be brown/red).
