  1. Pole radius of Earth = 6356.8 km.

    This refers to the mean sea level.

    Land height (above MSL) at South Pole should be added to this. Google Earth doesn't give the height at the S Pole. But nearly 9000' was the figure farther away.

    To hazard a guess it could be 6360 km.

    At N Pole it is 6356.8 km (MSL)
