  1. The BTL12 has a Xmax(linear excursion) of 16mm / .62 inches. This means it can travel .62 inches in one direction before it peeks.

    The Cerwin Vega Stroker has a Xmax over 1 inch so the Cerwin Vegas has the ability to move more air and produce more sound. If amplified correctly the Cerwin Vega will beat the BTL. Both are excellent products. Cerwin Vega has been making high quality products in the U.S.A. for a very long time. It is very hard to beat a Stroker.
