Hi Sean. You are never distant from mind. Hope all is well. I still love you.

  2. The weather bug actually puts a tracker in your computer the other is run by NOAH and they could care less what you do with your computer after you use their info..

  3. they both use the same technology so i wouldnt trust them either we as normal people can make better predictions

  4. weather.com is what I use to check my weather since I dont watch TV, they are usually accurate, they are the official weather  service so they dont want to ruin their reputation

  5. WeatherBug uses the National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts, which, as much as I dislike the way they do things, is more accurate than The Weather Channel any day, because the NWS is able to get more detailed for your specific area with over 120 offices around the country.  The Weather Channel (weather.com) has only one office that forecasts for the entire country, so they don't get nearly as detailed or accurate, especially if you have mountains or are near and ocean or a Great Lake where small scale features (like winds off the ocean or lake or down the mountains) can have large influences.

  6. although there are alot of bias opinions out there I can tell you from experience that I have had serious proablems with weather bug and had an incredibly hard time getting there program off my computer.

As far as accuracy goes it is a matter of interpitation.

All commercial weather forcast outlets recive there information from the National Weather Service then interpit the information for there specific customer base.

If you truly want to see who is the most accurate compare them with the local NWS forcast for the area you are wanting.

The NWS home page can be found at http://www.nws.noaa.gov

Also see this article on the business of weather  here is a blurb.

NOAA's National Weather Service is the primary source of weather data, forecasts, and warnings for the United States. Television weathercasters and private meteorology

companies prepare their forecasts using NOAA information. The National Weather Service is also the sole United States official voice for issuing warnings during life-threatening weather situations.
