The player is still more advantageous to the house by a fraction of a percent.  Here is a PDF that has a lot of detailed percentage on baccarat.

in terms of sive of the edge the casinos has over the player between the tow bets, the "banker" bet has a slightly smaller house edge than the "player" bet
