Which is more attractive: overtness or subtleness?

I think both are preferable. I just think you didn't choose a very good link for overtness. Take almost any picture from America's Next Top Model fashion shoots, for example. They use intense makeup and concepts, but still look very chic and clean. Personally, I think an overt style is more fun to play around with, however, it can look horrible when done wrong (again, referring back to your link). Subtleness, on the other hand, certainly has its own edge, since the natural, subtle look is pretty hard to pull off. In the end, when done correctly, both overtness and subtleness can be very much mind-blowing and attractive when done correctly.

I like it, because it appears as though she's not trying, but nonetheless, you see that attempt.

The overtness seems to overdo it, like she's over seducing if that's possible? It's kind of reminiscent of a hooker :/
