Which is more attractive to you?

someone who has a degree in english or a degree in science and why?

which is smarter? someone with a degree in english or someone with a degree in science? and why?

Any science major in the world probably already knows English anyway, so I would naturally prefer the latter. Besides, science/math are universal languages.

that depends on the person and how much common sense one has.  you can know all and have no common sense and you are DULL and come off very ignorant.  so if they have a good sense of the subject at hand plus good common sense then id pick that one, which ever that one may be.

You really can't answer that question without knowing and talking to the two people.  Each have their merits.  If you are looking to answer this question to decide what you want to go to school for, it is more important to figure out which one you can actually do.  Check the workload and career choices.  If you base your decision on which one looks better to others, you are doing it for the wrong reason.

I would be more attracted to Science.  Science can lead to a better chance for overall survival of the human race.  English will only help us communicate.

A degree in either of those is no good without common sense.... it's just a piece of paper.

science. for science you also need to know math....for english you just need to know english.
