  1. It depends on so many things that it's an impossible question to answer.

You may live in a place where electricity is really cheap and gas is expensive... or vice-versa.

We could compare a super-efficient electric stove to an inefficient gas stove... or vice-versa.

And don't forget that energy prices are constantly changing -- gas had spiked up, but is now falling... the same could happen to electricity.

I'd suggest that you make your choice based on the kind of and amount of cooking you do, the end costs are probably not going to be so significant that it's worth changing what works best for you.

  2. i still say gas

  3. Gas is still better

  4. Gas is still more cost-efficient, and it works faster and more efficiently, too.

  5. Gas is cheaper than electricity

I have a gas stove and cook every day and I hardly pay anything.. My electricity bill 200+ every month

  6. Gas but I would not have it

  7. depends where you live

  8. I'd say Gas

  9. No, gas is still the cost effective way to go when possible.

  10. Gas stoves give instant high flame or low heat, unlike electric stoves which take a while to get high heat or cool off to low heat.
