Which is more difficult?

which is harder, snowboarding or skiing? and why?

snowboarding.. because you don't have the extra stuff to hold onto for support

Snowboarding, if you're going for less than a few days.  It takes a bit longer than skiing to get the hang of but after those few days you'll be rockin'.  Skiing is easy to start but to move past basic skills is pretty tough.

I vote skiing as harder.

snowbording is hard to learn yet easy to master skiing is easy to learn but harder to master.  if ur going on a one day trip go skiing if 4 3+ days go snowbording
