Hydrogen fuel cells are an energy storage device much like a rechargeable battery. A solar cell uses sun light to produce electrical power. The last time I looked sun light was much cheaper to acquire than hydrogen.

Solar, hydrogen has to be made and transported and stored, which all take energy, decreasing the overall savings of hydrogen.

which tastes better a banana or an orange...two different things...at this time neither one is good,,,dollar for dollar..gas and diesel are best for transportation and nuclear and water power are best for electrify
