Which is more environmentally friendly: reading a paper newspaper or reading an online newspaper?

first online newspaper, then one made out of Hemp paper which is completely recyclyeable over 7 times and as a last choice newpaper made from cutting down our trees!

I think reading an online newspaper, with a paper newspaper, many trees are getting cut down. But I don't think that would stop people cutting down the trees, unless you can tell the government about it. But if you're on the computer for a long time, then more energy is burned and that makes the world hotter, so just read the online newspaper for a short time.

Well if you have your paper news paper delivered to your house you should read that instead of throwing it away to read the online news paper...

short term the online newspaper is better.. cause it doesn't take as much energy to print and transport.

but onine news is part of our whole technical culture that is transcending nature's ability to supply resources. the computers have to be build and put together and transported half across the earth. our whole life-style with cars and computers, plastic-bags and disposables is more threatening to the earth than printing on paper that was made from trees. The printed newspaper COULD be made in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way, but the computers CAN'T.

so i think right now the online newspaper is a better choice, but in the future, we're gonna have to go back to printing.. responsible printing, with recycling and respect for the labor earth and humans have put into the production.
