Which is more expensive Melbourne, Sydney, Perth or Seattle?

....to buy a house, rent an apartment or just general Cost of Living.,,but mainly the first one.

Remember, Sydney is an internationally known city whereas Seattle isn't and it's not even Australian. You can't really compare housing prices between the two.

Sydney is definitely more expensive.

Sydney is the most expensive of the Australian cities. Don't know how it compares with Seattle. Will try to find out.

EDIT:

Just had a quick look at Seattle real estate listings and it's much cheaper than Sydney. So, Sydney it is!
