i'm troubled where to go. More or less the airfare and the tour to Central Europe (Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary) and a tour in LA is somehow equal. But I don't know the standard of living in Central Europe. Is it more expensive than in Los Angeles?

  1. seriously, almost all Europe is expensive in every thing and in food it is so expensive because I think of the tax.

I tried the food there and it is SO expensive.

  2. i would think that Germany and Austria are much more expensive then in Czech or Hungary.

i live in Hungary but do most cooking at home.

My husband and I spend around $60 to 80 USD per week on food. We could spend less but this is also household items and some alcohol.

If you eat out in restaurants, you will spend much more of course.

I haven't lived in Los Angeles in years but food in the states is more then in Hungary.

  3. Im afraid Central Europe is far more expensive at the moment than America
