  1. Sacrifice one of his followers to save many.

  2. It doesn't matter cause God is EVERYWHERE HIS EYES ARE ON YOU,YOU AND YOU RIGHT NOW!

  3. I have no idea... God works in mysterious ways.

  4. God sacrificed millions to the flood and only saved noah and his family

  5. There was a city full of homosexuals. A man wondered would God destroy a whole city if fifty upright men were found. God said he would spare the whole city for fifty. The man asked about 45, then 40, then 35, all the way to 10. There were not 10 well-behaved men in the city of Sodom so God told the ones who were good to get out before He

burned the city. He cares for all people, but if they decide they will never care for Him, He has the right as Life-Giver to take their life away.

  6. Shouldn't you be asking God this?  What makes you think anyone at Yahoo answers can speak for God?

  7. Hmmm, tough question. I don't know if the literal version of the question you're asking is relevant, but I think what you may be relating to is the historical events of the Old Testament, in which God's people fought against other cultures and slaughtered the men, women, and children. Non-believers often use those Old Testament events to portray God as being a merciless, unruly tyrant.

Now, I'm not a theologian, but as a Catholic, I believe that there's an alternative explanation for those events of war and slaughter by God's people. See, the people of ancient Israel were surrounded by many other cultures of people, and those people often sought to conquer Israel and its people. Had Israel been conquered by those other cultures, God's people would have been in danger of losing their culture, their society, and their religion. Therefore, their place in the world as God's people would have been lost.

You see, the Israelites were the people who would later spread the message of God's saving grace, through Jesus, to the world. They would not have been able to do that if God hadn't saved them from the surrounding hostile peoples of the Middle East. They were fortunately able to preserve their religion and culture even after the Assyrians and the Babylonians conquered them. Therefore, they could still pave the way for Jesus to come into the world.

As to the slaughtering of the women and children, that's hard for even me to understand. I believe, however, that God allowed that also for the protection of his people; if they hadn't been killed, they would've tried to seek revenge on the Israelites.

What I'm saying now may sound like complete dumbness to you, and you can think of it that way if you like. I'm just giving you my most honest, thought-out opinion as a Catholic. I hope this helps you. It may or it may not. That's for you to decide. But thanks for asking the question!

  8. God loves us all, man.  Don't you know that?  Geesh, read the bible, will ya?

  9. going home would be the best for any of them .. depends on who has the greater work to accomplish i guess but who can know Gods reasoning ..

  10. All people and animals are important and loved by God.

Jonah was sent to warn a city of disbelievers; his enemies.

Jonah wanted God to destroy his enemies.

Jonah wanted God to strike him dead as well.

    God loves us all.

    God love you!
