  1. The "chrome" finish because it goes with more than the brass

  2. Hi, What is "in style"is purley media hype, true style comes from within the creator. Stop copying and doing what other people tell you is in vogue, do what YOU want. Chrome can seem hard while brass is softer if you know what I mean. But depending what you put with them in the way of towels, curtains, shower curtains, soaps, any thing thats coloured,ie.flowers,pot-purea etc. even down to the loo-rolls all have an influence on the overall effect.look what other people have done but you don`t have to copy just pinch ideas ,mix and match what you like, you will then end up with your own style, which pleases you, and others who don`t know style will copy as it will be original but only you will know and appreciate the original style because YOU created it.Enjoy yourself, creativity knows no bounds. 3. Neither - brushed nickel.

  4. brushed nickel

  5. Which do you like best?

Personally, I don't pay attention to what's 'in style' ... it changes too frequently.  I use what makes sense to me.  Period.

For instance, you might like the way brass looks, but you might prefer the way chrome cleans up.  You have to weigh the pro's and con's for yourself and choose whichever is best suited to your taste.

    P.S.

I find that whatever we grew up with, we don't like as adults.  My parents had chrome fixtures; I have all brushed nickel.  LOL!

  6. Brass would be fine, if that is what you prefer, but I have found that if you just stick with chrome, you don't have so much to deal with when matching everything in your bath.  And, besides, chrome is going to hold up better in the long run and will not become outdated.

  7. Neither... I work in the construction industry and the most popular finishes for bathroom and kitchen fixtures is BRUSHED NICKEL or OIL RUBBED BRONZE...  but if for price reasons you can only choose between chrome & brass... Go with CHROME!!
