  1. heat

because we are already warm blooded!

  2. Dying of heat.

I think you eventually get numb after being so cold for so long?

  3. Both would be unpleasant in their own ways. I'd personally prefer freezing over roasting if death by old age were not an option.

  4. freezing as i hate cold.

  5. Dying of heat in the desert. After a while of getting frozen, you  can't feel it anymore. Your nerves stop working from the extreme cold. This also happens in extreme heat. The only difference is that frying your nerves takes more time than freezing them does.

  6. Freezing to death. You are going to pass out from dehydration in the desert long before you are going to from freezing. Once your out you're not going to be there to notice it. Freezing to death you are going to go through a stage in hypothermia --after you feel much of yourself go numb and getting painful frostbite--in which you feel like you are burning (its your bodies way of compensating) and you will rip off all your clothes, thus exposing yourself more to the cold elements. so you get to feel like you are freezing AND like you are burning up if you die in a freezing situation.

Contrary to the popular concept of "going numb" meaning you can't feel anything, having parts of your body slowly frozen and exposed to the elements can be very painful. Once you collapse in the snow in a delirium, you may or may not be entirely pass out, thus prolonging your agony.
