Which is more playful, a boy or girl Ferret?

I'm getting a new ferret and i notice my boy ferret is more playful then my girl ferret, is this with all ferrets or is every ferret unique? To sum it up, if i want a playful ferret should i get a boy or girl?

Ferrets are just like humans; they all have unique personalities. When you go to pick out your ferret, buy it based on its personality, despite its gender. That way you will have a playful ferret.

I have one of each and they are both very playful. Xena- the girl loves the cat toy with the feather on it. Stitch- the boy loves to bite the tops of your feet (especially if their wet) and if you scream and run it excites him even more.

s*x of the ferret does not matter.  They have unique personalities.

Go check out a bunch and pick the one that seems most playful.

The s*x doesnt matter.  It just depends on the ferrets personality.  My girl ferret is more playful then my boy ferret ever was.

I've had one boy ferret and two girl ferrets. And I'll just say that in my opinion each is unique because he was always lazy and one girl was lazy as well and my last girl ferret is very playful. I say when you get to the store you should look to see which are playing and which are snoozing. This should tell you regardless of gender which you should choose.

They are all different.

But I have had both male and female ferrets and my females always seem more active and for longer. I have a 10 year old female ferret, and she is still just as active as my ferrets that are a year old. She get tired faster but she'll still dook around the house quit a bit.

When my males reach about 2-3 years, most of the time they want to just lay around and get fat.

Male ferrets are said to be more "lap ferrets" while females are notorious for being fidgety though.
