Talk about NewYork, Paris, London or Sydney, when you want to take your family or friends out, the most wanted place according to the recent research done in University of Harvard, is Chinese or an Indian Restuarant. I am sure there must be many other places where you might find it an ideal place too.......

but thats not the question......which one do you prefer Chinese or Indian cusines..??

you can also add your favourite dish if any??

  1. here in manila, chinese is more popular than indian food. 'coz we inherited some of the chinese food like pancit (noodles), siopao, siomai, and some kakanin (rice cakes) ^_^

  2. As a fan of both,  I would say that if I had to choose, I am going with Chinese, although I love Curry, the Chinese is soooooo good.

    faves - orange chick

    kung pao

    red curry - thai curry

    peanut thai

    any Indian spice.

  3. There are more Chinese restaurants than Indian in major cities but Thai restaurants are catching up real fast -

I prefer Chinese, Thai to Indian.

  4. i love fried rice, from the Chinese takeaway places, doesn't matter which shop etc it comes from i pretty much prefer it over Indian.

  5. Chinese.

The variety stretches a whole spectrum, from sweet to sour, spicy to salty, steam to oily. With chinese food, they cook any type of meat you can think of. And very much healthier.

With indian food, its either curry (And most of them taste the same), oily and HOT. Not spicy . And they dont serve beef in indian cuisine. And worse, they are either very oily or very high in cholesterol

  6. Friend the bottom line is Chinese food is healthier.

Lots of vegatables (especially chinese vegetarian)

I like to spend time in Malaysia where there is a mixture of Indian and chinese culture (and malay) so I see alot of chinese people and indian people.

The chinese are slender and strong looking but the indians are weak and fat looking.Especially when you see the women what a difference!

The indian resturants are just grease pits horrible looking food everything fried in oil.

I know this is not how food is supposed to be in India and the true vedic food is probably something alot healthier but somehow Indians have fallen into the habit of eating bad food that is cheap.Instead of snacking on fruit they snack on fried things.

I have also noticed that in places like Delhi there is a growing awareness of healthy eating and alot of Indians are now eating Chinese food!

  7. I prefer Chinese, I can't eat too spicy food, it hurts my stomach but I like curry, tandoori chicken and samosa.  I'm a Chinese and I'm from Hong Kong, we have a lot more Chinese restaurants than Indian restaurants.

I also like Japanese, Thai, Italian, French and Vietnamese Cuisine.  When my stomach is doing well, I would go to a nice Indian restaurant to have curry, I like Naan bread too.

  8. chinese

i really love both foods. but indian foods dont have many choices to me.

chinese has lots of different taste and ingredients. and really cheap!

  9. well here in holland indian isn't too populair, also because there aren't too many places to go to eat it at and therefor makes it much more expensive than going for chinese, but honestly, i think indian food is so much better, loads of flavours and i love it.
