Which is more powerful, a full and complete knowledge and expertise in sorcery or a thermonuclear arsenal?

Well, personally, I'd rather have the full and complete knowledge of sorcery, because even though I don't really believe in it all that much, I know for sure that I would never use anything as destructive as a thermonuclear arsenal, so that would be completely useless to me.  Whereas, knowledge is never completely useless.

Two different things that you cannot compare. But if I were to choose I would choose the craft because it is more than what people think it is.

It's about Wisdom not magick. Magick is simply an understanding of energy and how to use it. An "extra" I suppose you can say. But it's all about being better humans, more caring, more observant and here to just be better. It's not about how much we know, what we can conjure up or anything like that. We are terribly misunderstood no thanks to hollywood. And I can't really blame hollywood because we are all responsible to seek out truth and recognize it. Why no one does is just silly.

But if it were between wisdom and thermonuclear arsenal I would choose wisdom. It surely was NOT wisdom that chose to invent weapons. It was mere intelligence without the thought of how it can affect our planet.

The two choices you name are not mutually exclusive.

The only differences

I can really see in them, are in terminology.Having a thermonucleur arsenal IS  pretty heavy duty Sorcery anyway.

I have yet to hear about cities or even nations destroyed by Sorcery, excluded the ones in the books and movies.

I have, however, read about cities and nations destroyed by nuclear bombs.

Therefore I will conclude that a nuclear arsenal is more powerful than the imagination of script writers penning stories about sorcery.

Thermonuclear weapons destroy every thing.  Sorcery will leave useful items and people behind.
