  1. I will say the tornado. Tornadoes form quickly and with much less warning than hurricanes, and they are very unpredictable in the direction that they go. The winds in and EF-5 are also much stronger than those in a hurricane. Hurricanes cause more damage simply because they are larger in area.

  2. Tornado.

You don't know when/where it'll hit. You know about hurricanes before they hit land.

  3. An EF5 tornado. The winds are about 70 mph faster than a category 5 hurricane. Also, hurricanes you have time to prepare for while tornadoes happen instantly with little or no warning and most people aren't prepared for it.

  4. Hurricane.

  5. Hurricane beacuse they affect a much larger area than tornadoes.

  6. Very good question, but let's think about this logically.  Scary-wise, they are both scary!!  As far as which is more dangerous, well, let's look at the facts.  EF5 tornadoes have winds that can be greater than a cat 5 hurricane, but think about size and area.  EF5 tornadoes can be devistating mile-wide or more tornadoes.  A good example of one was the one that hit Moore, OK in 1999(?).  It was roughly a mile to a mile and a half wide and was on the ground for about 45 minutes.  You can imagine that can do alot of damage, but it depends on where it hits and when.  A cat 5 hurrican on the other hand can be hundreds of miles wide and the hurricane force wind field can be 50 to 200 miles in diameter depending on the size of the hurricane.  Hurricanes move very slow compared to tornadoes and can take hours to pass a certain point.  I think a cat 5 is more dangerous simple because it will cause far more damage and distruction in a greater area than an EF5 tornado.  By the way, that same cat 5 hurricane can and usaually will produce several small if not up to a dozen small tornadoes with very little warming.
