Which is more summerlike: June or September? Why?

In western Oregon September is warmer than June, though that isn't the case everywhere. So where you live, which month is more summery?

In Southern OR, it really depends on wut the weather is like.

but since June is the month that most kids get outta school it feels more like summer and it has the longest day of the year.

Whereas September is the usual start-up of school and even though it is warm it is closer to fall and the days are slowly getting shorter and shorter

In Southern California September is definitely more summery; June is usually cool and cloudy.  There's actually a poem about how the seasons are mixed up in San Diego:

In San Diego the spring comes in summer

the summer comes in fall

the fall comes in winter

and the winter comes not at all

In Missouri, June is more summery.  September can have frost near the end.. not often, but it does happen.

In NY, June is more summery, in the 80s. September is fall weather, getting cool,  high 60s and the leaves are starting to change colors.

i live in chennai, south india, in june the avg max is 37c egrees and touches 40 - 42c t times and in sept the avg max is 34cand touches 38- 39c at times... so june is more summery in my place....
