It's HUF that's more used - a lot more than EUR although you may be able to find some stores that accept EUR. The best would be to find an exchange office and change EUR into HUF, but be careful, the rates vary - those near the bus stations or the train stations tend to offer a lower currency rate. Find the one which is the closest to 250HUF for 1EUR (there are some which are selling as low as 220HUF, so stay away from those).
