  1. Amtrak has a station at Newark Airport. I imagine hotels are pretty available in the area.

  2. See there, you just knew there were nice people in Jersey. Quit hidin' folks

  3. Downtown Newark. The Hilton is directly across the street from  Penn station.. NJtransit is the way to go from the airport. u can either bus or train ..  the train is faster. Taking a cab is also a way to go. 15 min ride from airport to downtown nwk. (depending on traffic.)  BTW make u specify NeWarK PENN STA.. there is also one in NYC.

hope this hepls . if u need anymore info email me lcontinental6fo@aol.com

  4. Port Authority Trans-Hudson Railroad ("PATH") runs from Newark Pennsylvania station into downtown Manhattan (33rd Street via SoHo) with direct connection to the subway system. The fare is cheaper than NJT (and a LOT cheaper than Amtrak). Train frequency is about every 9 minutes compared with the 30-minute frequency of NJT.

  5. I recommend staying in New York City and taking the train down to the Newark Airport station on the day of your flight.  The trains are very frequent.  Unless you have a really early flight out of EWR, there's no reason to stay at an airport hotel.

If you are in Manhattan, it is very easy to take a cab or the subway to Penn Station and then take a New Jersey Transit train to the Newark Airport.
