Which is nicer out of West Bridgeford and Matlock to live in?

I've just got a job in Nottingham and need to relocate; I've heard that both of these places are pretty nice. I'm 31 and in a relationship. Nightlife-wise, I prefer pubs to clubs.

matlock is a realy really beautiful place, out in the country side - it has lots of nice pubs both there and in the surrounding towns/villages. westbridgeford is also nice but doesnt have the counrty scenery - it has a fairly good night life but there are rouigh places but its alot closer and has easy access to nottingham city centre. if your not bothered about being close to the city centre id definatley say matlock
