By psychological, i mean things that would bring you into conflict with your beliefs - for christians, this would be evolution, for captialists, this would be public disorder.

The ability to stare in the eye of the thing that contradicts you the most, and the most realistically, or the ability to ignore that thing and carry on regardless?

  1. physical challenges.  It's easier to ignore psychological problems they are just in your head.

  2. I'd say psychological. It can make you overcome obstacles while the physical challenges would make it harder for you to, say, climb a mountain, if that's something that you really wanted to do. If you work on the inside, you can test yourself more and become stronger.

  3. Preferred? That's tough you decide, you know. They're both extremely important.

But facing your fears and everything psycho? That's a tad more important.

  4. the ability to phase psychological challenges. because it is in you they cant take it and that's something of a great strength beyond physical

  5. Psycho challenges.

  6. psychological. for sure.

  7. Preferred... when? I.e. If I'm being rescued from a burning building by a fireman, his ability to overcome physical challenges if far more important to me that his ability to face things that contradict his personal faith. And probably to him too at that point - facing yoiur beliefs is all very well and good, but you don't want to burn to death while doing it. But also psychological challenges as you define them are important, especially in terms of leaders. I would rather the Prime Minister (or President) didn't turn a blind eye in denial to anything that contradicts his rosy world view, and that's probably more important than his ability to bench press free weights (except, possibly, in the case of the Arnie in California.)

It's situational, there's no universal "most important". Different events call for different abilities.
