in the following statment which is right to use (If there ARE/WILL BE enough people, we can hire a minibus)

    If you were to say "There will be enough people." Then that would be the correct use of "will be".

    so to make even i'll go for "will be"

    but i think it will be "are"

  4. According to The Little Brown grammar book.  page 207

    Tenses of a regular verb (active voice)

    Future - Action that will occur in the future

    Simple future - Plain form plus "will"  

    They will walk.

    Future Progress - "will be" plus -ing form

    They will be walking.

    There is no conditional.  But in my Barron's Spanish Verbs book, (page 11)  they cover the Conditional tense.

    In that book...the English equivalent of the Spanish conditional is "I would eat, You would eat, They would eat...etc"


  5. "If we think there will be enough people, we can hire a minibus" is a way you can use 'will be.'  Otherwise, use "If there are" for this sentence.
