Which is safer in Los Angeles, riding a bicycle or a scooter?

it would probaly be safer to move out to the country where nobody cares what you drive. country living is way better

I don't know about LA but in NYC, Baltimore, and DC you'll be safer riding a bike.  I wouldn't ride a scooter in any fast pace city.  It's too slow and you can't maneuver it as well as a bicycle.

Playing Russian Roulette is probably safer than doing either in LA. A scooter would have the advantage of not tempting you to breath LA into your lungs too deeply though.

the only way to be safe is to wear a florescent shirt with a big x on the back and as many reflector on the bix or scotter as you can get on it.. and a mirror to see who is coming up on you ok.
